9 LIVES "Bill Shannon"

Here Bill Shannon, dancer, skater and performance artist performs in and around his studio in Brooklyn and talks about his degenerative hip condition and how he makes the best of a bad situation.

We made a film called "9 Lives" in 2003 for Tylenol's "Ouch!" ad campaign that profiled nine different athletes. We spent a week or so filming with each person and spoke with them about how they deal with the pain that comes from what they do.
